Caught this 6 pound 3 oz Smallie on Pickwick this spring in heavy current, talk about stretching your string. Fish was 23 1/2 inches

Great fish Ivey. Smallies are fun to catch but I really don't target them. Maybe I should rethink my strategy! Those would be some fun catching. Good luck with the surgery.

That is so neat we have three boys of our own also but they do not enjoy fishing as much as we do. Drone fishing is using a drone with a bait drop when you are fishing on the surf but you could also probably do it on your boat.

You need to get your boys involved in fish catching. Find a farm pond that you can access, get some worms, bobbers and #8 hooks and stand back. They will probably be catching fish faster than you can rebait.

Howdy,

Just for a smile...

Let me introduce one of my dogs, Cash, to the group. Cash is a two year old Blue Heeler, Australian Shepherd, Labrador mix. He is a certified therapy dog. Not a service dog. Those are two different things. Cash is a therapy dog that has had hours of training and temperament testing to become certified. Prior to the pandemic we did weekly visits to residents of nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and memory care units. Such a joy to see the residents interacting with him. Many of them love animals but can't have them in their current living quarters. We are so looking forward to the time that we can resume our visits.

For fun we run agility courses. He REALLY loves that.

I hope you are all healthy and happy. Stay well and peace to you all.

PapaJ, you have an amazing pet. I have read about the training for therapy dogs and it is quite extensive. So good of you visiting our elders. I’m sure they enjoy every moment. I’m also sure you enjoy the visit. You are a good man. Thank you.

I agree with Saw1. Definitely needs icing. Not allowed to eat ‘em but the wife doesn’t know! :-)

In W. Pa. they call that nut roll. Certainly tasty with coffee in the morning.

I saw on the news a cruise line opened up for business and already a Covid test came back positive and all passengers are quarantined to their rooms.

My question is why would one want to take a cruise in these Covid times?

There is no fixing stupid!

Exactly FT ahead on that thought. Been in that mode the last 2 weeks.

Plum, if you are discarding much of value the best way to clean the shelves is to contact an auctioneer. They can sell everything but the dust. Lot better than garage sale.

Good reason to do the “Do we really need this?” It’s necessary but difficult to do. Good luck on the move Plum and PlumJuice.

Nothing set yet, had to sell here first took nearly 3 years . I have step sons in the Sykesville area. So the Mrs wants to start around there.

When you get settled somewhere maybe we could meet somewhere in the middle and wet a line. I look forward to doing that.

64 now here. supposed to be about 60 or less today overcast.

We caught 1/2 limit of crab in my 3 brand new HD crab pots at Tillamook Bay on Monday. No bites from Salmon.

Went back to pull the pots and head to ramp. All three brand new pots and everything was stolen....gone...nowhere to be seen. Spent 1.5 hours with State Police and Port of Garibaldi To report it. Finally today my mood is slowly getting better. Monday evening and yesterday it was nearly impossible for me to even smile.

Have good day all.

Sorry to hear that Jeremy. That is very disheartening. There are some thieves out there. Hope the cops can help.

Been trying to figure that out myself for a few years. Found some nice looking structure using Navionics maps but with the virus haven’t been there to check them out.
