That’s a good way to be bored. I’ve been retired since 2011 and never been bored fishing, catching or not. All my normal pains go away while sitting in my swivel chair in my boat.

So true Fish! I always have an extra bounce to my step after a fishing trip. Keep on fishing my friend!

That’s cool! I wish I was as bored as you are, lol.
Tight lines!

Thanks Roge, and AccuWeather has us in the mid 70's by the weekend. It's going to get a whole lot more boring!

I always said that when I retire I'm going to
1) Get up and go to bed when want to.
2) Eat when I want to.
3) Take a nap if I want to.
4) Fish when I want to.
5) Annoy may wife and
6) Spoil my Grandchildren.
I'm happy to say that I am living that dream now.
Commander Bell out

Great retirement plan!

Are you going to save my life snd tell me where this is? I’m from Carmichael, 78 yrs old with one food in the grave and another on a banana peel!!! I don’t even remember the last time I caught a bass that big! I think it was in the tank at Bass Pro in Manteca! How about a hint, like how many miles from Carmichael? PM would be fine! 😀🤪

Folsom Lake, which is closer to you should be experiencing the same fishing. Folsom had some very nice bass in it.

Lake Berryessa my friend. We are catching suspended bass off main lake points by casting and presenting finesse baits on the bottom. Sometime next week the fishing will be wide open as they move onto spawning flats.

I started wearing mine full time last year. You'll get used to it.

I'm really good about it when I fish by myself. Need to do better when I'm not.

Hey you all, we lost two anglers Saturday fishing the Delta in a high performance bass boat. Not a lot of details but a child did survive, probably the only one wearing a life vest. Please be safe everyone!

It’s coming my friend. Many great days ahead! Next Tuesday looks awesome weather wise. Might be our lucky day!. I’ll take those large spots and smallies all day long! But remember KDV won’t be with us!😂😂😂😂😂

We'll manage to catch one or two without him. Hell, I let him have front seat last Friday so he could start catching and stop whining!

Been pretty special and next week has a mid 70's forecast that will move them to the bank. 25+ fish days ahead! But, I really, really want to celebrate retirement with my first DD!

My first year of retirement was the best. Fishing by the weatherman, not the calendar. Fished several new lakes, caught 5 different PBs, including a first of species. The best freshwater year of my life. Enjoy it as much as you can brother.

That's so cool Fred! You know me... a laser focus right now on one PB. Again! Lol
