I may try that, but 6-7 makes it a 14 mile round trip, and right now 10 including the trolling is about all my body can handle!

Well... You can always consider it exercise. That makes it sound better. But 10 miles on a kayak is a long ways.

I would have had some sympathy for you Robert but I'm serving time myself for cashing in my wife's life insurance policy.

Yes - it allows for a "hands-free" fishing experience!

I just got it in late May and have had a blast with it.

I have been talking the wife into getting one. Waiting to see if the Fred Hall show will open this coming year. We have a few paddleboards and kayaks both single and doubles .The grandkids seem to take them and use them but I like the hands free . Also the improved seat makes a BIG difference I'm told.

I use the Bonita and macs for Lobster bait.
I usually always bleed and ice at least one Bonita for Pokey though.

In San Diego a lot of people hoop net from kayaks for lobsters. Its a blast and your already in the zone.
You should try it!

That mother has been tracked.
Those "kids" sure look like their having fun!

Bet things would have changed in a minute if some unaware human child came out to play. Good thing for parents. lol

Good to know PapaJ.
I use Garmin and have been happy with it. Not Side View though.
Is that what your fishing partner uses also? It sounds like your both impressed with it.
Stay well!

Reel, used to have braid on my reels for fishing big party boats, but was told the Skippers weren't happy about that because it cut the Mono others were using!!!!

Kerry, They have soften their stance on that now. So many anglers are using it they would be turning away paying customers.

A braid tangle can be a nightmare. The sensitivity is definitely a plus. Deckhands have learned to adjust because braid is that good.
