Oh Well. Nothing is perfect! Especially when it comes to Fishing?
Get yourself a shrimp net and a bucket at a tackle shop and catch all the grass shrimp in grass beds and bulkheads along the shoreline. Grass shrimp to perch is like candy to a kid! I use an ultralight rod and reel with 2 small (No.4) or (No.6) hooks and a one once sinker on the bottom of the line. (6-10 lb test) Lots of fun with light equipment. Bigger perch are found around structure like docks, bridges and bulkheads. I fish the Chesapeake Bay area in Annapolis, Maryland. Fishbites (Blood worms scent) will work also and they will last longer on the hooks. Good luck. Fried Perch is a great meal with french fries, coal slaw & beer.
