Another amazing picture Gordon. I was out there when I was a kid, but in the SW part of the state. We stayed in Rock Springs, and fished in Flaming Gorge. It was breathtaking. Thanks for sharing buddy.
Decided to go to my favorite dock today despite the forecast of on and off rain. We, a friend of mine was there, got about a 90 minute break in the rain. He caught seven and I caught five. A combination of drum and white bass. We ran out of minnows.
My last catch was this guy. A largemouth, before the sky opened up and I got soaked. Definitely my best day fishing, even with the rain.
Sounds like an awesome day Greg, even with the rain. So happy to see you getting out and warming up for the M&G. It will be here before you know it. Thanks for the report and great picture buddy. 👍🏻
Admin, Could you add this to PA, NJ, DE, MD, WV and CN as well trying to make sure all those attending the Meet and Greet see it. Please leave in Main for the first week. Thank you, J
I just got back from a week with Jim Sargent and Cindy Harvey at Lake Powell. Of the five days I was there we fished three. Between us we boated 102 fish, mostly smallmouth, we caught some small largemouth, I caught a walleye and Jim caught a dessert plate sized bluegill. We didn’t land any monster sized fish but the time on the water and the ferocity of the fighting smallies is just heart pumping fun!!! I have been blessed to have such friends as this.
Awesome pictures and fish Wulffy! I'm so glad you guys had a great time out there. The landscape is surreal in that area. Congrats on the PB Smallmouth 👍🏻. Thanks for sharing your trip with us.
Thx Fred, just spoiled me thinks. This is my TIME of year on the big fish. Have caught about 100+ fish and only two quality ones. They will come..................right?
ABSOLUTELY. I have 100% confidence in you catching a DD this year, my friend. 👍🏻👍🏻
Well it is back to reality today. After the great outing with Tyler on Monday was fired up to give DVL a try. Got to the lake early and it was fairly dense fog and cold until about 10:30. Throw in the algae bloom starting and moss on your hook about 75% of the time, not an ideal day. Managed 10 fish and all were small. Biggest, maybe 1 1/2 lb. Looks like I will be heading back to Skinner or maybe another outing at SanV.
A 10 fish day is good in my book Garey. Much better than the stripey critter. Thanks for sharing brother.
Took my small boat out today for some bass fishing and they were in the shallow water On wood. Caught some on a 4” pumpkin Perl ring worm and some on a watermelon creature. Texas rigged.
Awesome catching Mikey. Spring is finally here! Thanks for the pictures buddy.
