Me to. I’m a business owner and will continue working as long as I am able
This is a fishing website and I enjoy having fun with all of you - sharing fishing stories, jokes and pictures. But, we can not ignore the CV disaster that is now happening, this is truly a sad time.
A lot of terms (new to some) are now part of our daily vocabulary:
Corona virus, COVD-19
Epidemic, Pandemic
Social distancing, Droplet transmission
Flatten the curve, hand sanitizer
Shelter in place, Self-quarantine
Drive through testing, N95 face mask
Case fatality rate (CFR), Ventilator
The word that is not heard, the elephant in the room is
TRIAGE.
During triage, patients are “graded”.
Those who are likely to live, regardless of what care they receive
Those for whom immediate care might make a positive difference in outcome
Those who have a low likelihood of survival
Triage becomes necessary when medical professionals decide that the medical resources (such as ventilators) available are not sufficient to treat all the people who need help, that some seriously ill people should not receive advanced care because they are unlikely to survive.
Triage is used to divert scarce resources away from patients with a low chance of survival in order to increase the chances for others with higher likelihoods.
That means someone could be making your life or death decision for you - scary stuff.
I’m hoping we don’t hear the term TRIAGE in our country, it means many of us have met our end.
Hate to say this but I’ve got both of “beat”. I turn 70 later this month. Wish I could turn back the calendar.
Does NY do that because of concern over introducing invasive species?
yes they are all fresh water lures
As oceans rise, that light house will probably be under water in another 50 years.

Robert is right about old lure values they have aged alright but their worth has a place later to me. Now,bring em out and use em guys and gals. The explosion at night on a black jitterbug or early morning with the lunker lure or Zara spook, rapala, hula popper,Tom Mann’s worms, how bad that hurt me to say,oh the pain. And don’t forget in my book the king of kings, the LUCKY 13.
MT - you hit on some of my golden oldies. You may want to visit a thread started by Spirit about 10 days ago titled "vintage lures". Here are some of my oldies
Check out this lucky fluke that was caught - a survivor of a prior attack. I posted this last year but seems appropriate to bring it back for this thread.
regardless - limit or goal - 80 with a boat is flat out crazy and dangerous
You can't catch bunker on a hook, they are filter feeders. A quick search shows you should be able to buy a casting net online. I think that's your best option - catch your own bait.
Good for you bs- I’m sure it felt very rewarding
Yea - that's her after she left the gym
