Hello RB and thanks for the reply. I moved from TN to Gilmer County seven years ago and I am familiar with Dalton. Of the waters you mentioned, which are your favorites, and where have you been fishing at lately ? JG

I enjoy reading the reports from around the country. It's like traveling without having to get in the car ! However, I'd like to see more from the Southeast area, especially from North Georgia and SE TN. There is a lot of rain in this part of the country, which means lots of water and lots of fish habitat. Many dams mean many impoundments, with a good bit of access to the public. I particularly enjoy catching the Alabama Spotted Bass here in it's native range. It has been introduced in CA and grows to humongous proportions out there. I also catch catfish and all types of panfish on light tackle using mainly jigs which I make. I look forward to reading and contributing on Fishing Stage.
