Hello RB and thanks for the reply. I moved from TN to Gilmer County seven years ago and I am familiar with Dalton. Of the waters you mentioned, which are your favorites, and where have you been fishing at lately ? JG
Hello Scaledown 72 last week I fished Toccoa river at tammen park in Blue Ridge Ga .I did alright @ 12 stockers and one that measured @ 13 or 14 inches forgot my tape so i'am not sure . Then on Thursday I fished Hiawassee River at Reliance Tenn. I had a great day there I netted 4 fish before rising water drove me out of the river . But I switched to aspinning outfit and finished the day with a couple more. At 70 yrs old with 5 ruptured disks and a bad heart its best to not fight the water too much . I fish alone now because all of my grand kids are in college and high school and no one is available most of the time . Thats why there's so many I's in this . How about you where do you fish ? Blue ridge is a short distance from you if you are in Ellijay . Do you fly fish ? What kind of fish do you go after ? Boat ,wade or bank fish. If you bank fish Carters lake is not the best place to fish . Its deep @ 430 to 460 feet at the dam and in most places 30 or 40 Yrds from the bank it drops to 200 feet deep , so its rough to fish . Let me know and I might be able to suggest a couple of places . RB
