Recent events on this site have led me to decide to no longer participate. Not an easy choice as I've met many, many wonderful folks here. Thank you for sharing a part of your life with me. I will truly miss all of you.

However, censorship is something that degrades the death of every man, woman, and child that has died in the creation and defense of our Constitution. And revoking religious freedom because it doesn't align with a Preacher from Kansas who apparently cannot comphrehend and exemplify the teaching of perhaps the greatest teacher in the history of mankind, Jesus Christ, is blasphemy at the highest level. The Fishing Stage is guilty on both of these counts and should change its name to Fishing Facebook.

Good luck and tight lines to those I will miss. Again, from my heart, thank you to those that have enriched my life over the last few years. My email address is skaiser41657@gmail.com should you ever need to contact me.

Welcome aboard Michael. Your best surf fishing is at the east end of the island. Take a left at the light and drive to the end. Make sure you don't have your tires on the pavement when you park. Go to the beach and head left to the last set of rocks near the end of the island. Another spot where you can catch Whiting is on the river side. AS soon as you cross the bridge over the Folly River there is a pier at the park on the Left side of the road. Whiting should be there soon if not already there. Good luck.

Welp.. not today. Small Craft Advisory was issued about the time I arrived at the launch. I took some time and dunked her at the launch and fired motors just to check everything out. It all looks good and works as planned. Just had to put her right back on the trailer.

Bummer……Wise choice on your part..

Approximately 17 veterans commit suicide daily. Please reach out, my brothers and sisters when you can.

The end of a relationship. Loss of a job. Housing instability. Feeling a loss of purpose. At some point, everyone will face a challenge. Some of those challenges may develop into a crisis. Recognizing a crisis in yourself or those you care about can help you know when to find support.

CRISIS SIGNS

These signs require immediate attention. If you are experiencing any of these and need medical attention, call 911 now. For immediate help in dealing with a suicidal crisis, contact the Veterans Crisis Line: Dial 988 then Press 1.

-Thinking about hurting or killing yourself
-Looking for ways to kill yourself
-Talking about death, dying, or suicide
-Self-destructive behavior, such as drug abuse, risky use of weapons, etc.

We can make a difference.
Thank you.
