Things are well, thanks for asking Randy. Family is good, but the little ones are growing at a rapid pace. I can't seem to slow time down. Lol but serious š.
I have a smartwatch that periodically tells me to breathe. It even reminds me when Iām working out. But I think thereās actually a very good message there.
That breath youāre drawing right now is a gift from God. There might be someone in a hospital today struggling, hoping for his or her next breath, so we should never take it for granted.
Every day of our lives is a gift from God. Every single heartbeat is a blessing. So donāt take your health for granted. And donāt take your family for granted.
The Bible reminds us in Psalm 90, āTeach us to realize the brevity of life, so that we may grow in wisdomā (verse 12).
My addictions took me places no human should ever go. Traumatic situations.. life threatening at times. I was weak and needed something else.
But in my time of weakness, I called out to the Lord, and He was there for me. He sustained me on these days, and He sustains us all to this day because the Bible says that Heās the āGod of all comfortā (2 Corinthians 1:3).
Sometimes things happen in life that are unfair and tragic, and we want answers. But if God told us, we wouldnāt be happy. If God said, āAll right, Iām tired of your asking why, so Iām going to tell you. Are you ready? Hereās why. . . .ā
We wouldnāt like it. It wouldnāt make sense to us this side of Heaven. So instead of asking why, turn to the Lord and cry out to Him. Bring your pain to God. Bring your sorrow to God.
We live on promises, not on explanations. So we shouldnāt spend too much time wondering why.
Its good to be on here today, I miss this site. Walk in love my friends. Go in peace and grace.

We all should pray in some way or another an I'm sure most do. I find most times I pray or talk to the lord when fishing or even just out in the woods for a walk or hunting. Prayer is a most humbling thing for me. The Lord knows we all need help from time to time and it's nice to be able to help others in need even if its is a prayer
Amen to that
Hey E, all is well in the Longley home! Hope all is well your way as well..
Randy, good to see ya bud..
Hows life treating y'all?? Good I hope..
Hello all my fishing buddies!! I hope this finds you in good health.. we are good, just bored bored bored.
I have many people asking us to pray for them lately.. for the pandemic, and for our nation as well. It is an immediate necessity.
When people ask me to pray for them, I always try to do it immediately. That way, I donāt forget. Itās also a good thing to ask other Christians to remember us in prayer when weāre facing a crisis. Without question, thereās power in unified prayer.
Jesus said, āIf two of you agree here on earth concerning anything you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you. For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among themā (Matthew 18:19ā20).
Heās also in Heaven interceding for us right now. The Bible tells us that Jesus Christ āis able, once and forever, to save those who come to God through him. He lives forever to intercede with God on their behalfā (Hebrews 7:25).
And the apostle Paul wrote, āWho then will condemn us? No oneāfor Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and he is sitting in the place of honor at Godās right hand, pleading for usā (Romans 8:34).
Robert Murray MāCheyne, a 19th-century Scottish pastor, said, āIf I could hear Christ praying for me in the next room, I would not fear a million enemies. Yet the distance makes no difference; he is praying for me.ā
By the way, Jesus Christ prayed a lot when He walked among us. He was always praying to the Father. We see Him praying all night on a mountain, praying before He chose the 12 apostles, and praying in the Garden of Gethsemane as He contemplated the horrors of the cross. We also see Him praying from the cross.
So if Jesus, being God, felt the necessity to pray, then how much more should we? With all of our shortcomings and weaknesses, how much more should we follow the example that Jesus set for us?
God bless and have a great day!

Hey Denny glad to see your words. Did you get the email i sent you yesterday?
I haven't checked my emails yet, I will check it now
Never give up. Never give in. The miracle is just a little further up the road. You dont see it, but the light at the end of the tunnel is there.
In your life, NEVER give up in the face of adversity. Idk, maybe your in a turn-back moment of sudden clarity. Everyone has a turn-back moment. You have a moment, and you have a choice.. you can either move forward, or you can simply give up under pressure. However, the thing you must keep in mind, BEFORE you give up - is that IF YOU DO GIVE UP, the guarantee in that is: your 'thing' will never happen. That's the guarantee of quitting. It will never happen, no way under the sun. The only way the possibility remains that it can happen - is if you never give up no matter what.
Dont do it, dont give in, because God is ALWAYS coming, and He is NEVER too late. Even at our worst moments He is there working for our good. Things are happening behind the scenes and God LOVES to show off His Power and Goodness, Strength and Love. Recieve it and be glad, if you dont give up the victory is ours, God is the Victor!! Let Him lead us into Victory.
I heard Steve Harvey on youtube this morning, a testimony about his success and how God got him there. Steve Harvey enlightened me this morning.. God is Good, and He speaks to us.. even through comedians lol.
