Bass Pro Is not what it use to be I asked for a Catolog in January just recieved it (5/3/21) of course I missed all the sales (no computer) made an order from my phone after driving 2 hrs to the nearest Bass Pro only to find out they were out of the combo I was going to buy. The order came in 4 separate boxes one with only 2 lures in it and it was month and ahalf before I received the whole order. Won't be ordering to much from them anymore

Tie one of those hooks on your line buy or dig up some worms put one on put the bobber on go wet that line try to catch some fish if it's your first time go somewhere you can get use to casting your new set up without the hook on it of course until you feel like you have it down I'm 70yrs old been fishing since I was about 2 and I'm still learning don't give up good luck take some pictures of those first fish you catch later on you would wish ya had

Try checking your guides with a q-tip if any of the cotton sticks you might have a bad guide the uni to uni knot seems to work fine for me me but I go 30lb braid to10 or more mono or floor I had that problem with one of the guides on my older rod drove me nuts and ended up losing some lures I'm still trying to replace

Pool noodles and budgie cords put slices in the noodles to protect the rods put 5he buggies through the noodles and strap them on😀👍
