Sorry ! No, I didn't notice, and actually thought that once I brought their attention to it that they'd figure it out and do so by themselves ! Guess I over- estimated them; hope they find their way back soon !

Mrs. BadBobby asked me to keep the ol' fart out as long as possible.

One fine day two Texans, Badfisherman and Badbobby, decided to give hunting a try... They purchased there rifles (legally and with gun safety ever foremost in their minds) and set off into the bush in search of something to shoot...

After contending for hours with mosquitoes, burrs, the inconvenience of deer being pretty much forest colored, and numerous other trials, they finally stumbled upon a clearing...

Much to their amazement, in the center of the clearing stood a magnificent 16 (or whatever number you consider magnificent) point buck... With all the precision of fully trained Navy Seals they drew and fired at the same instant... Dropping the buck where he stood....

Congratulating each other on their good fortune they moved into the clearing to inspect their kill...

Where once two eyes shone brightly were only two perfect holes (impossible you say as a deer's eyes are set on the side of its head and couldn't possibly have both been hit from one direction... Remember , these gents are Texans...)...

Badbobby and Badfisherman stopped for a celebratory drink of JD... (This may be the best part of any story)....Then each grabbed a hold of a hind leg and began to pull... After about a half an hour of this (antlers becoming entangled in everything from bushes and rock outcroppings to low hanging branches) they stopped for a breather...(and another drink of JD...Duh...)

As fortune would have it a fine lad, by the name of BigA, was passing by on one of his evening forays... Spying the two gents, and deducing by their dilemma that they were Texans, BigA took pity on them and offered the advice that the buck might be a might bit easier to drag by the antlers...

Accepting his advice as valid (he had a very honest and wiselooking face - much like a Canadian) Badfisherman and Badbobby resumed their efforts from the other end...

After an hour or so of far greater progress Badfisherman called for a halt and said to Badbobby...

"This sure is a heck of a lot easier pulling from this end.... But I just realized we're getting further and further from the truck"
One fine day two Texans, Badfisherman and Badbobby... (show quote)

The buck stops there.

Antediluvian or not, a fish is a fish... Pay your debts...

I suspect y'all were playing with different cards anyways...

But here on the FS fish are worth more... So I'm guess you're in debt to BB...

Glad to hear they are starting out right
Aye, it's good to hear of young folk finding love...

Not sure what a Minpin is...But pretty sure I could get a field goal with one

My apologies to her though... I'd be miffed if I were mistajen for a Chihuahua too

Min-Pin is short for Miniature Pinscher...the premier of Toy Dogs. Think tiny Doberman.

BTW, your "guess" is wrong, as BB owes me, big-time.

May they be blessed in each other's love for all of their days...

Texan debts are hard to work out... You owe him so much... And he owes you an equal amount... But they don't cancel each other out...

Guess different generations use different currency...

His fish just don't add up to your Chihuahuas

They seem a perfect match...thus, I expect their lives together will be glorious.

Excepting sympathy for his being a durn Squid, I owe BB nothing. Yet, I do respect his seniority. And, I have no idea what currency was in vogue at the time of his antediluvian youth.

We own one Chihuahua and one Min-Pin. LadyBug is miffed at your calling her a Chihuahua.

Hope you just mean trimmed... Yep... Nothing wrong with a little trimming...

How'd the wedding go?

BB needs to trim down his IOU debt to me and other Marines.

The wedding, in spite of Coronavirus fears, went quite well.

There were around 150 guests.

Although I doubt the Sgt. Major would notice... He's got quite the "sweater" growing...

I shaved the beard for my granddaughter's wedding.

Not broke, CD, but would appreciate payment on IOU's owed me by BadBobby and other Squids.

Nah, not likely, as I'm an excellent poker player. Ask any number of Squids whom I have fleeced at the table.

Well, I was kind'a coerced into developing a sense of humor.

Are you familiar with the ol' sayin' and bumper sticker: "Fish tremble at the mention of my name?" My brother, an avid and excellent fisherman, customized a bumper sticker for my truck: "Fish giggle at the mention of my name."

I do, however, always catch my limit at Long John Silvers.
Well, I was kind'a coerced into developing a sense... (show quote)

True story...

One vacation several years ago, my wife and I went RV camping at Choke Canyon, south of San Antonio. When we returned and visited our son and his family, our granddaughter asked how we did fishing. I told her that together, her grandmother and I caught about 50-60 fish. When she asked how many I caught, I then repeated, "Together, we caught about 50-60 fish." My wife eventually told her that grandpa caught only one bass by hooking him on the dorsal fin while reeling in his cast. Our granddaughter, who was about twelve at the time, said "Wow, grandpa. You really stink at fishing. You only catch the dumb fish." I responded by doing what I deemed appropriate...I disowned her.

However, under undue pressure, I eventually allowed her back into family gatherings.

Hey at least you still have a sense of humor. A skunk's just about eaten all of mine. We love photos, even if they're of your wife's catfish.

Dang man, sorry to hear that. Hope things improve for ya. Where are you located? Could you include it in your profile please? Hope someone around you can help you out with fishin info. Good luck and tight lines.

Thanks, Saw1, I appreciate your concern/sympathy. But, I have learned to live with the fact of my wife being the angler in our marriage. Living just off Lake Whitney in Central Texas and owning a small 13' pontoon boat, we are able to fish whenever we want. But, we only fish together when she can't find anyone else to go with her. She usually fishes with her sister and/or my cousin. I prefer bass fishing with lures, while she prefers catfish or top-water cork fishing.
