When you get all healed up and the weather cools some, we will have to go fishing out in your neck of the woods. My daughter and fiancé came over from Olivehurst for my birthday on the 30th. He is quite the outdoorsman and knows the rivers real well so I can steal some of his knowledge for us to use. Might even get Saw to join us
You and I can tell old Navy stories but I bet your will be much better, I only have 4+years not a career like you.

You are what our country has always called on it times of challenge. I have a friend that was 1st.Cav around that time, his name is Jack Amerson. I did my time at the end, 72-76 but I was a flat topper. In country very briefly. F-4J Squadron VF-213 World Famous Fighting Black Lion's as a Aviation Electrician's Mate and a afterburner checker at the blast shield etc.
I salute you for all you did, went thru, managed after you time honorably served and yes given me the chance to tell my grandchildren about a REAL American HERO that I know thru the Fishing Stage.
I hope you can make the M&G, I would love to meet, shake your hand and tip some longnecks.

Enjoy, Hope it is a lot cooler up there, this heat it too much for me.
Daughter and Fiancé are coming over from Olivehurst on Thurs. morning, I hope to go out that eve. and/or the next morning. I will try to get a few pics of how low the lake is and of course the fish we catch.

Can't fool me I have my reading glasses on and it is pretty clear that is a Panther Martin spinner and that color is my go to for everything from 6" trout, panfish, steelhead, shad and even Largemouth.

Steve, Good luck thought you should know lake is down and going to keep going down till at least around the end of the month.
I have not fished. 100+ in the day and still 80ish at midnight
Very rude not nice folks there a lot. Will be interesting it the fall, hope we do not get big fish kill.

I have spent a ton of time in the Delta area, when you do go on a day with the wind down know others will too.
It is good fishing but don't be surprised if you have company, more on the weekends
