That won't even grease the pan!
Sure like to know. Haven't seen decent size croaker in a long time
Going to try Windmill point when the cobia come up. Also like to try for Spanish mackeral
My suggestion is do a headboat or charter
I would think it's a bit early, but up in the Rap just a bit you could find croaker, maybe a few specs and white perch. The bay species aren't too far away!
There is a pier to fish from in CB. Usual baits are cut bait, squid, minnows, shrimp. Fish are croaker, stripers, spot, and the ubiquitous catfish. If the salt content gets high enough bluefish make an appearance as well as redfish.
Fair winds and following seas!
I'm hoping to hear something on croaker too. I have a place in Lancaster
Usually when the salt comes up a bit they move into the rivers. But keeper croakers have been hard find up my way on the Potomac. Used to catch 14-16" but not in a long time now.
A bit early, so you want to be near the bay
They're damn fine eating. And once you know how to clean them it's a cinch to put some fried catfish and hushpuppies on the table!
Awesome! Let's work to get the stocks back to where they belong! Stop commercial netting!
