Caught my 1st Wahoo about 30 miles out of Grand Isle, LA. yesterday. It was 60#. We were blessed to make it in before the storm. We heard several people were still missing from a capsized boat. Please pray for them.

The striped one on the bottom looks kinda like a sheepshead. Did it have white buck teeth?

If you’re going after trout and redfish, you can use whatever you use for bass in freshwater.

I lived in Springhill, Fl back in the 90’s. Loved to troll for grouper in 40-60FT of water. Watch your depth finder for hard bottom and structure. We used stretch 30’s with braided line to get to the bottom.

I’ve been fishing off the Louisiana coast for the last 40+ years and the last 2 years, we’ve had more shark issues than ever.
