That's one of the best ways to catch fish, specially if they're on the deeper side.

That's what I've been reading. I'm going to give them a go ahead and see what happens.

My next endeavor in my forever search of big bass will be drop shot rigs.

Well, I sure am glad that you "Titled this 'Thread' the way you did"... I had a neighbor in Pigeon (Bayou Pigeon); a lifetime ago; who used to speak of: "SockRollEye"... Now, I'm thinking that he was saying: "Sac a Lait"... What I've always known as Crappie... I think I like the Cajun name, better. I'm pretty sure that I would fish them topwater, early or late, during daylight hours. I see right where they're feeding, that way.
I'm guessing that an experienced "guest fisherman" on your boat one day, would be the best solution to figuring out that "fish finder". ... Good luck with it all.
Well, I sure am glad that you "Titled this 'T... (show quote)

Thanks, I've been looking at different images online of what they should look like on my particular fish finder. I'm always looking for pointers.

Wouldn't the music alert the fish to your presence I can understand listening when fishing from the bank but usually when in a boat no music is the norm

I've never had any problem with it. But of course my music volume is low. Just enough to hear it.

Nope ! You surely can't fix it, but
a strip of properly applied duct tape will sure muffle the sound, though !

No music for me while fishing. A huge part of the enjoyment IS experiencing the sights, smells and sounds of nature. My son, on the other hand (who routinely outfishes me) for some inexplicable reason, listens to bands like Sabaton and HammerFall on his earbuds when fishing. Says it helps calm him down!🤯😱

Oh I understand that! I actually heard something yesterday I've never heard before. But, the bass were biting good. I had to keep fishing. For about 2 hours the bite was on. It was a good day.

Depends on the day and my mood. Some days I'll listen to a little country music, oldies or some days just want peace and quiet.

My favorite song is "Redneck yacht club" by Craig Morgan. It's upbeat and a happy song. I know it works for word.

What do you listen to while fishing? Nature itself or do you have music you enjoy?
