Rare Catch
I did not know. I knew it was heavy but not fighting. I caught a latex glove one night. That was real creepy. Did not know if I wanted to look in it.
No I have not seen him again. If I do I will give it back with a big smile and a rod holder. PVC pipe attached to rebar with clamps you drive in ground. They work great. Put a flashlight on them to see pole at night.
So far I just catch Catfish,Trout and striped bass.
Next Trout I catch gonna cook them on the grill on a cedar plank.
We are gonna have a Merry Christmas and you do the same.

Cooking Trout
New at fishing, new at cooking them. I want to try cooking some on a cedar plank. Can you just go to Lowes and buy a cedar board or what. Have a gas and charcoal grill, which would be the best to use. Not done much grilling either. Did make a drunk chicken for Thanksgiving, man was it good.
Unfortunately I will have to wait till it warms up a bit. Kinda cold here in Salem/Spanish Fork Utah.

I talk to a catfisher who told me of a time he looked down to see his rod and reel take off into the lake. Much to my surprise a few days later I pulled in a rod and reel. really like it to fish for striped bass in Utah lake
