Hello. Have been following the forum for a while now but this is my first post
I’m in south west Ohio and my home lake is an extremely deep and very steep reservoir of about 2800 acres .
I’m looking to target summer bass. Have been searching for isolated rock piles between 15 and 25 ft deep using my electronics. Hoping to find the spot within the spot so to speak. Such rock piles are few and far between. The lake floor is surprisingly “sterile”. The few rocks I have located haven’t produced any appreciable concentrations of bass as I had hoped.
The lake is loaded with structure. Humps, Shear drops, etc And thermocline is at 32 ft right now.
Anyone have any success locating concentrations of bass in similar situations?
Some pretty good recommendations here. Or you could man up and grow a pair!!
Touching and handling fish is part of the sport. Might as well get used to it
