While out snaring crabs one time. I decided to just zip-tie some snares on to a piece of chicken. Instead of cutting it up and putting it in a snare cage.
Wow now that's a view it real doesn't get much better than that
I was thinking the same thing. And since it looks like he still has one that he can use as a pattern. That's where I'd start.
Oh yeah that's a lot of boat to be slowing down. I just have an old 1956 Monkey Wards 14' SeaKing I restored and few years ago. The size of my sock is probably an over kill for my boat. I pulled it from a 20' cuddy, I got rid of when the kids lost interest in going out and started doing their own things as kids do. And the wife would only go out if the kids went. And it was just a little too big for just one person.
Thanks Fred YouTube Tiny Boat Nation. I'm going to have check that one out also. As I'm sure there's going to be others that do to. Good share
I always like Silence is the golden rule but duct tape is silver
On the bow of my boat, I have one of those anchor line stop and release guide's that you feed your anchor through. I just hook the sock on to the end of my anchor line. I usually feed out about 20 or 30' of line. And it'll usually slows me down to around about a .5 mph drift. You can also use a couple of 5 gal buckets with some holes drilled into them also works real well

Yeah I get asked what he's mixed with a lot. And when I tell them. I get the look how'd that happen. And all I can say is I haven't a clue on how it happened. And I'm still trying to wrap my head around that one still. But know his did had no quit attitude.
Yeah he's my half German Shepherd half Basset hound rescue dog. He's a crack up and too damn smart at times. He's pretty much a 100 plus % shepherd down to the deep bark and growl when need. But his legs that's another story they're a 100 plus % Basset Hound. He's my shadow
Yes, you would need to have a fish license when fishing from a beach. Public fishing piers are about the only places that allow fishing with out a fishing license.
