And like I promised I won't give any thing specific .

Afternoon tide 2 to 5 feet of stained water.

MrX feels left out Saw.

After last week's near shutout.
We gave it another try.
I promised not to say where.
These we're very secret spots. And the bait's are exclusive also.
I fished with Bill and another friend we'll call mrX.
Slow start on Thursday morning but we were on fish right away.
As the temperature got hotter so did the fishing with a final fish count over 125 fish we hated to call it a day with a fish every cast for the last 45 minutes.
Mainly trout a few lady's 2 keeper Spanish mackerel 3 keeper trout lizard fish and a squirrel fish.
I have to give a shout out to MrX for a fantastic day.
I turned those Spanish mackerel into fish tacos (yum) for 9 people MrX included.

Good catching sun.
A day on the water is great even if it's cold.
But it's easier to stay warm if you have a fish on the line.

The head boat on beach road in Englewood is a good way to get out on the water and catch some fish.
Went out on it last year good Capitan and Deck hand.
They supply the tackle bait and license All for 1 price.
Caught a mess of fish.
All you need to bring is food drinks and money.
The name of the boat is Reef Raiders
FYI the Deck hand is not paid by the boat he only gets tips for fish cleaning and assisting the fisherman.
So tip accordingly.

Went out Wednesday with my friend Bill.
We were targeting sheep's Head.
But the water was rough so we didn't make the 20 mile run to the good spots.
Went to Punta Gorda to fish the canal's Bill got 6 sheep's Head fishing shrimp.
I fished a white swim bait alllll day I got 2 bites. Lost one and landed this one.
Still fun to be out.
My wrist is still sore from tossing at the docks.

We don't have a lot of coming up from the caloosahatchee.
But the peace and myakka rivers certainly influence the harbor.
There in pirate harbor the clean Sea water runs straight in form the Gulf.
After it hits west wall it travels up and down the east side of the harbor as most of the river water travels down the west Wall .
hat makes the fishing better out front of pirate harbor.

Went out Saturday with my friends Bill and Steve for some trout fishing.
Our first stop we started catching trout.
The bite was was scattered but steady.
Final fish count 45 trout 5 lady fish and 1 snook .
We had an aggressive dolphin at our last stop he didn't wait until we put the fish back in the water he took em when you hooked em.
Very exciting when you're line is running with a 200 pound monster on it with trout gear.
No Marine mammals were injured.
Good day on the water.

I would check out the sky way Pier.
A lot of fish are caught there.
Go to skyway Fishing Pier state park for info.

The Sand flea's back in Boca Grande

Went out of of gasparilla pass today to do some reef fishing in the Gulf In my neighbors boat.
We had a great day we caught 14 Red Grouper All short, lizard fish, Black grouper, Black Sea Bass, squirrel fish, Robbin fish, grunts and a sandbar shark.
I think it's a Robbin fish.
Gorgeous day on the water.

Ya Chuckay w probably worked 4.5 miles of canal's and mangrove shoreline.
We had the best luck in brackish water.
I got spoiled with the 100 + fish days.
