I can see why it is another Favorite. Great thread here.

That was the first Mother’s Day song we ever did at Crossroads Cowboy Church. It was the start of doing a “theme” type song for all holidays. Just kind of a fun thing I enjoyed doing, since I got to pick out all the music. We did lots of country songs since it’s a Cowboy Church. (Several of Travis’ songs)

Well Randy I just sent this to the Juices 3 boys and mentioned that there mom would really appreciate a song like this today. I am hoping they take a little advice that sometime it takes a little more than a potted plant.

Thanks for sharing your Mom moment, if the Juice is brought to tears, I will share too.

I forgot to tell y’all, grab a Kleenex…
Several years ago, before my mom passed, our Worship Band and I sang this song on Mother’s Day, with Mom in attendance. As was her normal custom, Mom was sitting on the front row, so when I finished the song, I looked down from the platform and through the tears said, “Happy Mother’s Day, Mom”.
I can still see her smiling face with tears flowing down her cheeks… 🙏🏻

Good morning folks and Happy Mothers Day to all of the ladies.

I just popped a breakfast casserole in the oven to bake and grabbed a cup of coffee.

Looks like an overcast day at 61° is what we'll have today. Maybe a shower but at least not an all day rain.

Painting and Cooking

John, an avant-garde painter got married.

Someone asked the bride a few weeks after the wedding, "How's married life, Helen?"

"It's great," she answered. "John paints and I cook; then we try to guess what he painted and what I cooked."

Enjoy your day folks!

Yes sir. It was my PB. 2lbs.4oz. smallmouth. They are real fighters. When that fish saw the boat it headed for deep water. It was the highlight of my day….

I was going to tell you, I like your new avatar, too, Mike.
(Fred reminded me…) I have never caught a small mouth, as far as I can remember.

Hello I need some direction being a newbie trout fisherman. I thinking about going to Ice House or union valley Reservoir. I tried Lake Amador with not much success. Of course I realize My capabilities could be my problem. However I fell in love with being there. The quiet. But I would really like to learn. So, any recommendations as to were to go at either reservoir to catch trout?
Thank you
GG

Not much to actually brag about but the fishing has been strange the last couple of years.
Hard to say seven crappie and one walleye is a great day but it’s the best I have had in a long time.

Good job, Dave!
Was that on the north side of Clinton?

Good morning Looney Toons.
Grab a Pop-Tart and a Hug Jug of sugar water and get ready for the show!

You better grab a blanket too since it's only 41° outside and foggy. We may see 61° later today if we're lucky. Speaking of luck, it looks like the rain will be back with us by noon through the rest of the weekend.

I'll run to the local greenhouse and pick up some flowers for Mom and the Wifey this morning and then try to stay out of trouble for the rest of the day. Wish me luck with that one!

A fisherman began to drill a hole in the ice to fish when a voice called out, "You can't fish there."

He moved the drill a few feet and began to drill again and the voice repeated, "You can't fish there either."

After three more attempts he yelled, "Why can't I fish here?"

"You can't fish anywhere here, this is an ice rink."

**Bonus groan...**
