Decided to go to my favorite dock today despite the forecast of on and off rain. We, a friend of mine was there, got about a 90 minute break in the rain. He caught seven and I caught five. A combination of drum and white bass. We ran out of minnows.

My last catch was this guy. A largemouth, before the sky opened up and I got soaked. Definitely my best day fishing, even with the rain.
Great catch Greg. Happy for you I am. Keep on my friend.🎣👍👍

Looks like a great place to visit but I don't think I would like to live there, my son and his family has been out that way a few times and said he would like to live there one day 😂 but he says that about most of the states that he's been to, I think there's only about 6-8 more states he has to go, I doubt he'll ever move from Florida 😂
They have WINTER there Chuck. Lots of it, for a long time….Just sayin’😬😬

Son Gregg and I headed to one of the local waters for a bit this morning. We each caught 3 smallish bass and quite a few pickerel swimming 4” Keitech’s. We both lost a decent bass right at the bank, both looked to be a bit better than those we landed, maybe 2 and 1/4# or so. Tradition that we get out and fish on my birthday and make sure not to catch the skunk 🦨. The mallard pictured had 12 ducklings about a week ago but must have lost 2 to attrition of some sort. Got this card from my BIL, thought it was quite appropriate.

Well Brad I guess I’m bringing up the rear but happy you got to spend your birthday fishing with your son. It doesn’t get much better, especially when you catch a few!! Happy Birthday

That’s like putting out a batch of cookies and not expecting the Girl Scouts to come running. Hope it was great Mike…

Are you buying that bigger boat because your neighbor has one, or that new rod and reel just to keep up with the latest and greatest?

How about that $ 50 lure guaranteed to catch fish like your buddy has or that new fish finder with more features than you will ever use?

Just be yourself, there is no one better.
Nobody else can see what I see the way I see it. We are unique and how wonderful it is to discover that!!
