Will do. Got a friend from So Cal coming up Saturday. Not sure what We are going to use down there, so any and all pointers would be greatly appreciated! Plan on trolling, just not sure which lure to use. Hope you do well in Tahoe!
Was that the delta? Plan on goin out next Monday
Hello Dennis! I live in Sacramento and fish quite a bit around here. Try Comanche, Pardee, or Amador. Those are all real popular lakes for trout fishing. Another thing you can do is keep track of CDFW trout plants in the area. Good luck out there!
Nice one BM! Been down there 4 times this year with no luck. Was at Pardee 2 days ago. Turned out to be a nice boat ride, but I’m thinking Delta again soon!

I've been over there a couple times in the past few weeks. No luck for me, but I wasn't bass fishin. So what's the secret?
10” black plastic has worked twice for me this time of year. If you can find them live crawdads are the ticket for sure but they’re hard to come bye. Those fish are real spooky so you Gotta make sure they don’t see you! Good luck out there.
Thanks guys, plan in stickin around for awhile. Hope this reply works the way it’s intended. Hey 27, it was at mukmuk lake in notellem canyon! (Lol, the locals call it Mather). Saw1, sounds good I’m game.
Hello everyone out there, my name is Scott. Went out fishing this morning, in the Sacramento area, and got lucky just as I was leaving the lake. So, I thought I’d use this opportunity to post up for the first time. It had been a while since I caught a fish so it was really nice to get this one this morning.
After seeing your post I decided to finally chime in for the first time on this forum. Yes it’s true that Mather is tough to fish and has lots of pressure most of the time however, bass fishing can be extremely good. Caught these fish awhile back and I had to share. This time of year is especially good with live crawdads, if you can find them!
