We have a trout stream that is surrounded by small trees and shrubs its entire length. When they stock the stream around late November we end up with "Christmas Trees" all along the way.
Those strap assemblies are for those hard to handle fish like channel cat and walleye. You put the velcro around the bodies then you have a handle to safely carry them with.

Great looking restore. I hope your brother gets lots of fishing time and good memories in it. Your friend would be proud to be at the helm of your work! Go out with your brother, get those adult beverages out, toast the memories of your friend and keep your brother away from those tree stumps.
Have experienced two here in central Kansas but neither were that big. They are impressive and sometimes beautiful monsters. I'll take them over a hurricane any day.

What a great story. I've had a similar experience with a couple of accounts that my mother had. It took months after her passing, lots of phone calls and emails and I had to provide death certificates and send documents to prove that I was her executor. A really great experience for a grieving son to have to go through.
Some days are a challenge. Hope yours improves. Most likely the line feeding the refrigerator that is leaking so best to pull unit out and shut off at service valve. What brand is your 2 yrs old refrigerator?
