DC. The answer to your question. Yes the Philistines were turned away from the Egypt area and settled along the southern coast of Palestine. They were well know for merchant trading by sea.

God promised a son to Abraham and Sarah. Sarah was barren. But it was 15 yrs before that came to be. In the meantime, Sarah gets impatient and has Abraham father a son through Hagar, her Egyptian handmaiden His name is Ishmael. Hagar over time, starts looking down on Sarah, because she bore a son for Abraham, and Sarah is still barren. Now there’s trouble in the camp!! Sarah has Abraham put Hagar and Ishmael out of the camp. NOW we have a scorned woman. It wasn’t Gods plan, but God comes to her (I believe in the desert) and states that He will provide for her. Sarah bears the son promised, and he’s called Isaac. Isaac’s son is Jacob. God changes his name later to Israel. Even though Esau was first born to Isaac, God choose the second born to be covenant holder. Bible says that the descendants of Ishmael will be a cantankerous people. That’s a brief history of the reason for the blood hatred that goes on daily in that area. The Arabs; all of them, h**e the Jews. The world’s hatred of the Jewish people, is a direct judgement of God for rejecting the Christ, Jesus of Nazareth. That will change when this comes to the very end times. No one, no one, will run the Israelis from that area. It’s all Biblically predicted and it will not change regardless.

It is directly tied to what is happening today and the events that began on Saturday. I DO NOT claim to be able to tell the future, but I DO believe that God is omniscient (knows everything), including when Jesus will return to rapture His Church. It was NOT my “plan” to post the mid-week devotion video about end times prophesy. I only planned the “tribute” to Dad portion. It was only because of God’s leading that I included that video. It is He that gets the credit for the miraculous timing.
The Bible does not tell us “the day nor the hour of His return”, but it does tell us that it will be in the generation that Israel is restored.

“In the same way, when you see all these things, you can know his return is very near, right at the door. I tell you the truth, this generation will not pass from the scene until all these things take place.”

History shows that Israel was “restored” (again became a nation)
on May 14, 1948. That was 75 years , and 5 months ago!

The Bible also says:

“For there will be greater anguish than at any time since the world began. And it will never be so great again. In fact, unless that time of calamity is shortened, not a single person will survive. But it will be shortened for the sake of God’s chosen ones.”

Notice the last part of verse 22 :
We know who “God’s chosen ones” are - THE JEWS FROM ISRAEL!

This is something that we should ALL be concerned about!
