Years back I lived in cottage grove and fished the row river.
It was good trout fishing at that time. Might be worth your time and drive to try it out.
Nice bunch of fish you got there flyguy. Looks like a ton of fun
Thank you again for your help and making me feel welcome.
I will be looking forward for the PM. Bill
Knowing the location would be nice. I have the same issue I often go alone to fly fish. When I go with family and grandkids I spend most of my time helping the kids with no time for myself.
I'm located in so ca and my spot is in the eastern sierras. If your serious about meeting up with me there I'm in.
Thank you for your input. I will post accordingly and I hope I can do this correctly. I would like to hear more about your area in Utah and the fishing.
I'm a newly signed in member and I must say I really enjoy reading fish stories. I wish I had more to share other than trout fishing that I'm very passionate about. Anybody have some good thoughts on trout fishing?
Crappies are the most fun. Great fishing experience and I also think they are great on the grill.
Congratulations!!!
I really love the creeks in and around bishop. The lakes around Bridgeport are also good. Independence creek is another favorite.
Sounds like fallbrook ken has been there.
Also try the Owens river. Season is open all year. Again this is a bit of a drive from riverside but worth it.
Hello, I just signed in and this is my first post.
If you want to drive about 5 hours from riverside get up to lone pine and Bishop. Best fly fishing is wair pond near south lake in bishop. You won't be disappointed. Recomend chest high waders and have fun.
