Fishing has been tough in Jensen Beach except for snook and hardhead catfish.
The beaches are often a good place to start weather permitting. You can toss spoons, jigs, feathers and hard baits if the weed isn’t to bad. Also shrimp and sand fleas work great. If you don’t catch anything you still have a nice time being on the beach. Won either way.
Absolutely. Fort Pierce Inlet is a great place to go…..to many people now but still the best bet.
Welcome. Do you have access to a boat??
Anyone having any luck with pompano, bluefish and Spanish?? Have only been able to get out a few times from the surf with very little success.
Jensen Beach Causeway is often good as are most of the beaches if you can get good weather and clean water. Also Fort Pierce Inlet is usually pretty good.
The small lake off of Belvedere Rd under I-95 is very good for Peacock Bass as is the canal off of Belvedere Road and Mercer Ave. I like rattle traps and twitch baits. Work them close to the shoreline and fairly fast.
