That's right. Now you can't get close to the dam on either side since 9/11. Can't park by dam and walk railroad tracks to funks pond nothing. You can still fish off catwalk though. I still wade in on low side about 1/2 mile down to fish a few times a year.

Yes catfish are plentiful up there also. You also have the shad run . fishing there is just some of the best to me. Grew up in that area.

For me thats a million miles away. When I say lower Susquehanna I mean below the conowingo dam. About an hour and half below 3 mile island. Great fishing there. Small mouth large mouth stipers and everything else. The only other areas I've hit on the Susquehanna River was in millersburg above Harrisburg. My fathers side of the family is from there.

Fished there 1 time a couple yrs ago. Caught small large mouth and that was it

No boats of any type. Its a conservation water area. To fish you must also get a permit from the town hall in emmitsburg along with your fishing lic. Good luck and tight lines

I don't understand why people act like that. Fishing is my relaxation . wish everyone would just take an act right pill when fishing.
