Could it be the Henry Circle knot?.
During a high, I wear my sunglasses, the fish go to deeper water.
Doesn't matter if you have good mojo.
G.
You tied the line wrong to the spool. Too macho to ask for help? None of us get I right all the time.
Maybe you should stick to spinning gear.
I'll take take the bait caster off your hands.
You still didn't say what happened to the reel to make that nice curve.
Looks like a cross between a white bass and a striper.
Agree with the last reply: your drag was too loose so you perhaps were just reeling and the line was not being reeled in?
Oops. My phone messes with me often, by "correcting" my spelling. Especially when I'm not closely watching what winds up in the letter!
Yes, please answer that response.
This entire topic is mute. I still fish like I did when I first learned. Cast left, reel right. No lost motion. This was in 1941, I could not use the Mitchell reel, it only came with right handed capability.
I bought a few 2" pvc that were actually made for something other than my usage. I cut them in half and mounted then on my garage wall by using a 3/4" by 6" X 6 foot pc screwed to the wall. I can insert both rods and reels together for storage when not in my van. I have a nice phtoo attached.
Go Kevin! You're about half my age but you are one of my heros.
Glen.
