That is the name I was looking for, I bet I caught thousand or more over the course of one summer. I took pictures, googling them trying to figure out what they were. I caught one and a person was in the presence and told me about the bounty. It's just the way it goes after that one I never caught another. Now that was crazy.

In some parts of Washington State and Idaho along parts of the snake there is a bounty for pike minnows. There is another name they use for them and my memory slips me but in places there used to be as much as a five dollar bounty. I've sat at nine mile falls Washington on the Spokane river and caught as many as 75 a day. But I found out about the bounty after I could not catch any more

14.7 psi at Sea level is not absolutely correct. Tire pressure is at a cold pressure although tire pressure varies at different temperatures due to heat makes it gain pressure and cold makes it lose pressure. We do agree heat rises and cold settles, do we not. Therefore as the temperature rises the air is thinner and lighter causing less resistance where cold air is heavier and causing more resistance. Just as barometric pressure the heavier the air the more resistance and lighter the air the less. Where high pressure causes higher resistance and less distance and lower pressure will cause less resistance. I can only hope this makes as much sense to you as it did to me while studying this mess.

It is stated by the Federal Drs that pressure has no effect on joints or pain via pain management Spokane Washington 2017. We of us who suffer those dreary pressure differences know better. We the wife and I attend this monthly and was informed this at one point but the nurse practitioner that helped us seemed to disagree as do 95-98% of the patients. As far as line cast I cannot be completely sure but it seems to effect my casting distance also. I know it effects how the fish bite simply put I had a homemade pressure Guage from an old soda pop bottle and a mason jar. ( Broke during this last move) for me the catfish bite better when the pressure is low with cloud cover versus sunny and higher pressure. I simply wouldn't know about bass and other fish since I fish mainly for trophy cats and an occasional meal of smaller fish. I hope this did you Mercy for it makes a fair difference to me also. I hope you catch your limit daily.

Your exactly correct, if a person gives up your as good as dead. I was determined to walk, do some type of work and by golly I did and do just that. Granted I cannot do certain things and what I can do takes me longer but I get it done. I do not let people bring me down because I am a good person. Keep your head high fishing gear lubed, line in great condition and do what you know you can do ( clean the fish, cook and eat em) and show anyone who doubts us how to catch fish. Have a blessed day and if you catch to many fish, my wife and I will gladly help you eat them. Lol

I know how you feel, I was in a near fatal accident at 22 that left me where I couldn't walk for nearly two years. Now I'm in my early 50s over the years I had to learn how to do the things I enjoy by trial and error. Fishing is the one thing in my lifetime that has kept me going. I took up blacksmithing and love it so I make fishing rod holders and things like that. You learn the battles you want to fight.

One thing about this is I get to get caught up on beverage holders and fishing rod holders. I took an order for as long as you keep them coming, we will sell them for you. Been working day and night and love it especially since it's chilly here in West Central Texas.

Ugly is one thing that is incurable, no solution. They talk about how ugly a person long after you've passed on.
