Good morning and Happy Hump day!
This is a double Hump Day since we're ½ way through the week and also ½ way through the month of May.

59° outside this morning and heading to 70° this afternoon with more rain... blah, blah, blah....
Did I mention it's gonna rain today??

I'm taking a load of scrap to recycle this morning, I'll haul a few tons of limestone gravel back for under unit bases and holes in the driveway. I'll be helping a good friend this afternoon with a couple of his garage doors he's been having trouble with.

My Hearing

After completing his annual physical on a patient, the doctor asked if there was anything that was bothering him. Joe replied, "Yeah, my hearing."

The doctor examined Joe's ear and removed some ear wax. He then asked Joe if his hearing was better.

Joe said, "I don't know, the hearing isn't till next Tuesday."

Enjoy your day folks!

Good morning Doug, Ansley all the others that still warming the sheets. 59* and cloudy , going to 66 with clouds and showers all day. Have to get my surf gear ready for the weekend. The bluefish and stripers have made and appearance, the boat is in the shop , so it's off to the beach on Friday and Saturday. The down side is this is the last day of driving on the beach, so now we do lot of walking .

Sorry it was slow Jimmy, but no skunk anyway. I'm hoping to get out Friday, I'm starting to get the shakes. 🤣

The boat is in the shop. First guess is fuel pump. I just want that thing reliable.

First off, when I left for the lake today, I left my phone in the kitchen. No pix. Also made for a VERY interesting ride home after I made a wrong turn in an area where I only know one way in and out. Let's just say I really missed my GPS. Did not get skunked. We were looking for stripers at the lake, J getting some before i got there, me settling for a reasonable channel cat. I did. Ot get skunked. As we were leaving it started to rain a bit.⁹

Good morning everyone. A little sunshine teaser this morning then more rain. Hope everyone has a safe day

That's about the way it worked out for me Terry, sun came up, clouds rolled in, I quit fishing and dropped my boat off at the shop.

So I got the boat all done and ready to start putting on the "Poor Mans Fiberglass" or PMF as I will call it. First I filled in the slots on the bottom with foam to make it easier to cover and to add a little strength. I also drilled the pontoons and added some small all-thread to hold them firmly together. Once I got them all tight I cut them off even with the nut.
I have never used the PMF before and I have to say it's much harder to work with than I hoped. Mainly just getting all the bubbles out and getting it to all lay flat was a chore. All of that tan is one piece of cloth that raps all the way around the pontoon. 1 piece down and about 20 to go. Before I cover the bottom I will trim all the spray foam I used to glue the 2" foam in place. It was not dry enough to trim yet.
So I got the boat all done and ready to start putt... (show quote)

Progress is being made.

Just got notice that my Wifey has a procedure in Wexford that has been bumped up to June 25th, so I'll be the opposite direction the 1st part of the week. As long as nothing goes south, I'm still planning on Wed, Thu, Fri.

I'll keep y'all posted as we get closer!

That's horrible timing, but family is always first.
