Good morning and Happy Hump day!
This is a double Hump Day since we're ½ way through the week and also ½ way through the month of May.

59° outside this morning and heading to 70° this afternoon with more rain... blah, blah, blah....
Did I mention it's gonna rain today??

I'm taking a load of scrap to recycle this morning, I'll haul a few tons of limestone gravel back for under unit bases and holes in the driveway. I'll be helping a good friend this afternoon with a couple of his garage doors he's been having trouble with.

My Hearing

After completing his annual physical on a patient, the doctor asked if there was anything that was bothering him. Joe replied, "Yeah, my hearing."

The doctor examined Joe's ear and removed some ear wax. He then asked Joe if his hearing was better.

Joe said, "I don't know, the hearing isn't till next Tuesday."

Since most of my time is now taken up mowing,
My pome time is in the back seat.
But yesterday, pooped out, I just felt like going,
And this trip turned out pretty sweet.
The fishies were up top the first hour or so,
Then crankin was catchin a few.
I think I caught 20, and let em all go,
And one scary thing happened, too.
With darkness upon me, got caught on a stick,
Til then I'd been havin good luck,
I yanked like we all do, it happened so quick,
But dork that I am, didn't duck.
The Hoodler came flying, as fast as a race,
With 3 treble hooks all a swingin,
I froze like a dork, got smacked in the face,
And felt my cheek startin to stingin.
I looked at the Hoodler stuck tight on my vest,
Just knew there'd be blood every place.
But there wasn't any, I felt very blessed,
The heavy lure bounced off my face.

Moral of the story - duck. Just duck. Or don't jerk so danged hard on a heavy, 9 hook lure at dark. Duh.

Good Monday morning crew. Back to the grind for this guy..

Its National Apple Pie Day. 🥧 Maybe Mrs T will have a couple on the window sill cooling down.

43° now and 77° later with sunshine.

A water UV light install this morning and then loading to deliver another furnace.

I was talking with the Wifey about when we first met.. I remember I was feeling a bit adventurous so I asked, "Why don't you sit on my lap and we'll talk about the first thing that pops up?"

She's still not a fan of small talk....
