Yes do a search for stick bait, it should bring up a lot of places to purchase them

Should I be looking for a particular color or colors?

Can I buy the worms on line like at Amazon or Bass Pro? I live about a 5 1/2 drive, round trip, from the closest walmart.

A wacky setup is a large 1/0 hook (or larger) pierced through (or run under an o ring)on a Senko style rubber worm. Cast it outside a weed edge and let it fall with an open bail. Once it hits the bottom you can close the bail and yo-yo it back to you, pausing to let it fall over and over. Watch the line as it will jump when a fish hits. You can add a nail weight to the worm if you wish. It is very effective for bass.

Is Senko a style of worm or a manufacturer?

I have heard a lot about these but never tried one. Can someone explain what they are, how to rig and fish them? Are there any colors that I need to have on hand?

I have been watching a number of Bass Fishing videos on the internet. I am headed up to Brownlee Reservoir in late May and am wonder what else to bring along besides my wacky worm set up. Chatterbaits seem to have a lot of positive write ups and videos. Should I include some in white/ creme and green? Anything else i should be putting in my tacklebox for my first try at Bass?

Thanks, a bunch of great tips. I took my wife out and had her cast the baitrunner a few times and the bait runner switch had her a bit confused. I broke down and bought 2 Diawa Exceler 2500 Lts. There is a lot to learn here as I have only fished Saltwater or Salmon, steelhead or trout.

I went out to the barn and pulled down my old German gingerbread box of fishing reels and found 2 Shimano L150 Baitrunner reels that I had completely forgot about. They look about the same size as a 2500 reel. The drags on both ends seem to be like new. I know te dont make them anymore, but good foe bass?

I see a few reasonably priced reels that also have a “live line” switch, is that of any use fir bass fishing?

I got a cast king rid and reel fir my son years ago. One day while making a cast, the reel broke off the rd and ended up on the lake. They may have improved their product but i hate to be 300 miles from a store and have that happen out on a lake.

I was thinking in terms if a 2500 or 3000 sized reel. (Is 3000 too large?)
