The canyon jet boat tours have been running for for awhile now. I fish the reservoirs above Hells Canyon dam, and only go down to the river below the dams when it’s Seelhead or salmon season.

Some days you just don’t know what your going to catch . Was crappie fishing yesterday using a little red and white jig.
I was using an ultralite rig with 4 lbs test.

I only catch and release. I enjoy fishing for them to much to eat them. I am almost sixty five and have fished all my life , and have never eaten Bass. But thanks for your concern. We all need to care for our resources.

Yes, I fish all three. The smallmouth bite is starting to turn on. I put over one hundred fish in the boat in the past two days . The crappy have not started to bite yet.

Fishing is picking up, Caught quite of few nice Bass yesterday . Here a pic of the biggest Three pounds and 18 inches. Their in the spawn now. And off and on cold fronts have made fishing a little more challenging. Can’t ask for any better.

We are just starting to see the signs of spring. Fishing has been on and off due to recurrent cold fronts . The other day I caught over fifty smallies , most in the pound and a half to two pounds, only two under 14 inches. I worked through different baits and found that they were hitting silver or orange spinners. Have a great one, and “Slap that Bass”
