I was told many times if someone can't provide pictures it couldn't be true.

Just sayin. I think it's funny anyone needs to show a picture. Look at all the things we can visualize by reading posts.

Got that right bro, especially pics of dink fish that aren't worthy of a pic

yeah exactly . Recreational fire or cooking fire pit. It is what people here burn bunch of stuff in. I just usually have several fires. burn in easy area to gather stuff and then keep feeding an open fire. I have fences everywhere intentionally about 5 or six locations on a 10,400 square foot lot with shop and house. at street the width of curb is about 80' wide 165' to back of property. its 40' wide back there and then on other side of house and shop it goes back towards street but changes angles until back to street. I have front ( small ) and back yards along the 66' longhouse. behind shop is 20x40 and I burn anywhere its easiest to load fires. berrys never stop here they are like evil rose thorns everywhere I have huge fires for days. when we were younger neighbors would have yard burning keggers....pizza..etc. more fun than football

Its legal here after fire season gets over. Had some bad fires not far from here at all. Can burn like craazy. Open on ground.. burn barrels or like your nice outlaw pit. Are you allowed recreational fire pit?

No, but I'm gonna make this one look like an outdoor grill.......that's legal

What can you really do? I guess if the line is heavy you can reel the bird in and cut the line short or remove the hook but the bird would more than likely die anyway. Really no different than having 75 yards of line out and the fish breaks off and now you have a fish with 75 yards of line swimming around.

Those dang pelicans have become a nightmare out there. I don't believe they have good enough eyesight to see the lines. There are other birds such as seagulls, skimmers and some shorebirds that will dodge those lines and never get tangled. The piers have signs all over warning folks not to cut lines if they get one wrapped, you need to get it up on the roadbed and unwrap it, I've done it many times. There is also an 800 number you can call for assistance from a group that always has someone there for that purpose. That group is pushing to have fishing banned there because of all the dead pelicans they find wrapped in fishing line

Could have used that fire on the each thus morning at 30*. Not that it would help much. The 15 mph wind would have blown it out.

Yes, Pelican stole one off Skyway & had to cut line but tried others too…caught a few smaller ones. Thx

So, you hooked a pelican, cut the line and let it fly off with all that line attached. He's probably hanging upside down in the mangroves dead now. There is a huge threat of closing the skyway piers because of that behavior

That sounds tough to me, I've gotten some on the South Skyway Pier around the pilings, water has to be calm to get a clear shot
