So that is what you said when Mary asked what are you thinking?

Laugh, groan or post your snow pic.

2 of our die hard fishers waiting for spring.

Looks like these 6 called in sick with colds the next day.

I think I would have skipped the Saturday bath.

That look when you squat a little to close to the snow.

Honey I think we will need a bigger scraper.

Could this be Mrs Saw1 removing snow one handful at a time? Steve give the lady a shovel would you.

I've seen lazy before but this one gets a thumbs down.

1 pic Saw1 did not send to the insurance company.

Other than still being alive, why is she smiling?

Slight resemblance to Chuck just before moving to Florida.

Might be better to use a manual pulley system and a 3:1 mechanical advantage. 🤷‍♂️

At the least as a back up for any motor he puts on.

WOW the launch was packed I put in and went to a few spots I've never fished before then worked my way back to some old spots after they opened up. What a circus. Seemed everyone was crappie fishn'🥴🤫 . Not me I got 11 today and got run off the lake by a nasty afternoon SW wind . Got home in time to mow most of the yard too. A few misses and almost to the boat fish too. On my way back toward the launch staying tight to the bank and in and out of all the little cives I spotted something that just didn't look right. This big ( like a hub cap) Softshell turtle was basking away in the sunshine and I got right up to her. After a couple pics and me trying to back away she plunged back in the water. 🐸🐸🐸🐸🐸🇺🇲🇺🇲🙏

Looks like froggy is off to a good start in 24 Andy. I am sure many in that parking lot would be envious of your day. Nice going.

He’s a great believer.

Is that a spin off of the POC following Big dog? " Plain old Christian "

Good morning Bob, I agree with y'all 💯% what you see is what you get 😂 and don't ask if you don't want the truth about something, that's the way I was raised. Hope everyone has a great day 🙏

That truth thing can be so enlightening Chuck.

Truth is just that, the Truth, regardless of lack of understanding, disbelief or ignorance.

Like Bob said looks good on paper, but the wiper motor will not pickup the pipes up when they fills up with water 🥴 and if it would work they'd already be on the market, made of aluminum tubes with hydraulic pump to pick it up and down 👍 but keep us posted on the results 🤞

Good point on the motor Chuck. Now I am wondering if the motor will be strong enough with the suction from the mud being a deterrent.

Very good one plumb, too many people put “on a show” and never truly know who they are, pretty sad. I’m one of those “what you see is what you get” and if it doesn’t suit that’s okay with me.

“what you see is what you get”

Well said Brad. That is all I would ask of anyone.

If you haven't seen this before, it's worth a watch.

Very appropriate in these trying times on our college campuses and a reminder

Here is a set of plans I drew up to make a set of power poles for a bass boat. I bought the pipes to make it but haven't got around to it yet. Once I get my pontoon boat finished and get my new outboard mounted my bass boat I will be making these up.

What you guys think? Anyone see any flaws in my idea?

The basic idea is each pipe will fit loosely in the next one so a ring that fits tight to the pipe can be glued to the top and bottom of each section so they will not come apart. I plan to use an old windshield wiper motor as a winch to raise and lower it. It should anchor to 10 foot deep.

FNF, Looks good on paper and you have my curiosity peaked if it will actually work. What are you using for a bracket to hold them to the boat? Only flaw or concern is will the PVC hold up in cold weather and cold water without shattering.

Good morning all. It's Taco Tuesday, guess what's for dinner tonight!

Currently 64° and heading to 72°. It looks like showers and storms will start up early this afternoon.

I've got to take the Wifey to an appointment in Wexford this morning. We'll hit the road about 7am. Depending on traffic, it's about 1½ -2hr drive.

We Need A Doctor

A girl was walking on the side walk. She sees a man lying on the street, needing immediate help. The victim says that he is having a heart attack. The girl asks people around the street. And a man approached.

Girl: Help, are you a doctor?

Man: I am a doctor. What’s going on?

Girl: A Heart Attack!

Man: I am doctor in mathematics.

Girl: He is going to die.

Man: Prove it! 🤪

Have a great day !!

4/30/24 It was fun for me when we lived in Venice FL.. So much fun and so many fish caught, I sold my flats boat and just fished the beaches for a lot of years. Best fun was showing snowbirds how to catch beach fish. They will never forget their visit to the Venice FL. beaches. Look at the smiles.

Thanks for the smiles and the pics andys. Some fine catches there.

I believe it is for helping kids.

That is what the movie portrayed as most of those in need. But it hinted on helping parents of the children too.

Thanks for the site info Marc, I did a little web site searching before posting the thread. Just curious if anyone has first hand info.
