Unusual day, hooked 12 fish and lost seven, landed 5. Landing ratio is normally better than that. Trolled between 1.8 and 2.5 mph depending on gear out. Got most hits on the usual the usual gear, 5” blue UV sling blade and a 2 1/2’ 13 led fluro leader to a blue/white glow wiggle hoochie at 1.8 mph. But did pick up a few with a modified meat rig with 8” pro troll flasher, or a spin doctor in front of cut plug. The last fish in the limit was a 23” trout!

I figure anyone could take their wife to breakfast or lunch for Mother's Day but I wanted the day to be special so I took the little women fishing at the pond. Still a little slow but caught 8.
