All sources seem questionable but what I am finding makes me feel there is a third party in our game of Checkers and I want to know who is stirring up our quiet little hornets nest and what is the game plan.

Maid Marion,
Re: driven v. drawn.
There are many that claim "drawn."
I offer if a human walks a thousand miles; they are not drawn.

Then there is something else at play here. I thought it was overblown whiplash from Trump's horrific draconian practices, forced Hysterectomies and taking small children from parents faced with deportation. But the volume indicates something else. Thank you guys for the info. Don't know what to do with it.

Perhaps uselessly I repeat the question from 2 paged ago... what is driving this immigration. Are they being drawn here or drivin here???
What legal powers does the president have and what restraints.
I have seen so many bills couterdicting, compounding and canceling each other over the years that not much of it makes sense to me anymore. I hope some one out there can give us some straight facts.

I would say go back to basics. If you can't afford it, do without. Live within your means. I'm afraid it's much too late. The cat is out of the bag.

You're right. I've never had a credit card, every one that comes in the mail I cut up and throw away.
When we moved to Montana in 77 each family member had their own basic savings account at 4% intrest. Now everyone has credit cards and basic savings pays .01% 🥺

The debt I would worry about is the trillions of credit card debt in this country, whoever came up with that one knew how to distroy us.

All these trillions of dollars have to be backed by something/someone. Printed paper money is worth the paper it's printed on unless it's backed by some other value. U.S. debt is growing to unfathomable limits. I don't know the #'s but sure would like them to compare at the same time.

I would 'nt even begin to know where to look for those numbers or what to do with them if I found them.
My guess is that most of the dollars came from the Treasury for the infrastructure projects, more from investors in the future of alternative energy, home loans and peoples pockets for political spending. What matters is it's out there and moving not locked up in vaults..also don't imagine that all those immigrants are pennyless when they get here.

I would really like to read or hear these statements. Could u please provide me the source.
Thanks.

Central Banking Office, yesterday.
It seems reasonable to me that if 7 trillion dollars are out there in circulation instead of some vault somewhere and those dollars are in wages that generate an extra 1 trillion in taxes that there is that much more money available for the Big things like infrastructure which means more jobs.
When money sits still we have resesion ,we all know what that means.

As an aside... We've been told that due to the increase in imagination the economy has grown by 7 trillion and government revenue is up 1 trillion.... Isn't more money in circulation and money in the kitty a good thing?

Maybe the lady that stated this would please explain??

In 2021 there were 1.7 million, in 2023 there were 2.8. I would say that was roughly double. Why? I don't know,

Perhaps there is someone among us who is versed in international law, or someone has intiment knowledge of the Home Land Security administration that can tell us what is driving this, or what legal powers Biden actually has and what legal constraints he is under.

Not sure where this is coming from? Trumps remain in Mexico. Compare the numbers between the 2 administrations.
Not sure if I read your words correctly, but it seems to me you are saying we can't control the crossing of i*****l i*******ts. This is the strongest country on earth, all we need to do is quit letting the i******s in and processing them by giving them a phone and a pre-paid credit card.
Catch i******s , return to border or incarcerate them.
They will quit coming in droves as they are now. Some will try, some will succeed but not in the numbers we are experiencing now.
I don't mean to be derogatory towards you, just trying to understand your view????
Not sure where this is coming from? Trumps remain... (show quote)

Yes, compare the numbers, they have more than doubled just since 22. Same budget. Who's going to catch them , who's going to t***sport, who's doing all the paperwork. who's judging the cases. Current judges have a 4500 case backlog apiece.

Abbott did not close the ports of entry. He made it so that anyone crossing the border, not at a port of entry, was breaking the law. That law simply reinforces federal law.
If I am wrong, please direct me to your reference.

My mistake. Sep.2021 Abbott closed 6 ports of entry, found out he couldn't do that. (El Paso Times)
April 2022. Abbott started inspecting trucks for safety ( i*****l a***ns and drugs.) Truckers detoured through Arizona, Texas lost (billions). (( NPR)

At my age I don't remember as accuratly as I used to.
