Ken, so where did you fish at?

I don’t see a reply yet buddy. Wherever it was I doesn’t look like it was very deep because none of their guts were exposed out their mouths.
Jeremy they look to have come from the waters between Tijuana and Ensenada Mexico kelp beds or the Sea of Cortez below San Felipe like Porticitos. Not likely San Felipe unless they went out to the Rock?
Where in Mexico did you fish, MX is a big place?

Spirit you have Subic Bay in here, but did you remember S**t river you crossed going into Olongapo empties into Subic along with many other such rivers or streams?
Grammy, I'm not in Bristol Virginia but do visit Bristol Tennessee a couple times a year, where can we fish around there. I'm planning a trip of about ten days around thanksgiving, perhaps we can hook up, if need be I can pick up what tackle i may need while there?
CUTIE PIE I think would be appropriate.
I see Collards in the second row, you;'ll need a frost to bring out the flavors, wish i was there to join you when you set out a mess of them with corn fritters.
Gordon I'm catching up on past fishing post and saw this of the moon, if someone sees this and it doesn't bring about good feelings to the person I don't know what would, thank you very much for sharing such beautiful moons for all to share, thanks.
Popcorn was also some kind of moonshiner in his days!
Spirit, that I would enjoy & relish, let me get the old SUV tuned up and look into hotels-motels in your area, then line up another get away. Where I'm working, though passed the age of retirement the founder got caught with COVID last August, he hung on until Labor day September 7th then expired. A dying request was that I help his son get set up in the business which we're working on.
Our goal had been for both to retire, go our separate ways for six to eight weeks, return work one to three months procuring the work for the guys then back out again, enjoying retirement. We didn't get to enjoy that aspect of what we'd been working for. Many say that's not retirement but to us that need daily items of busyness (chores, obligations) to do, its what we intended. I just returned from 7 days in Tennessee fishing and golfing, three streams within walking distance to the ladies home that I was the guest at and golf course with three 18 holes layouts 20 minutes away, that was in March so I'm not do time away till about late May or June, then I'd love to wet a line with you.
It reminds me of a fishing trip 40 + years ago in Baja California, the Sea of Cortez, we took a panga from San Felipe to Gonzaga Bay, slept on the sandy beach. There was a one cantina that had very few customer (5) during the whole trip and there were three of us, but one that joined us for Cerveza's and ceviche was an old fisherman, when asked his age his reply came out eloquently, "I'm older than the sands of time", to that we toasted.
Today, Gonzaga is a thriving fishing village with rental homes and and all, the earth is getting SMALLER, with less places to get away too!
Spirit it wasn't intended, but did drag a few of them out of the bush.
Yes I was, detached to patrol boats on the Delta, commonly called brown water Navy, did I add myself to the list on the Army side, Wouldn't surprise me if I had?
