I’m looking at purchasing a finder right now and want to get one with the 3D imaging also with clear view. I’m far from an expert on this stuff but after looking at some YouTube vids it looks like something I could use for sure..It also bring it up to another price range as I am trying not to exceed a budget of $500..

Thanks Guys, Right now looks like the Garmin Striker 7 SV or the Humminbird Helix 7 MDI
Anyone have anything to say about either one? Reviews seem to be mostly positive but I have not got to play with either one yet. Trying to get out today to Dicks to play...
Thanks Again....

Another question guys, I see a lot of the ones say they have GPS mapping but a lot of the reviews say that there is no mapping it just makes a map when your on the water. Do I really need maps? I do like the idea of marking areas of interest.. Thanks

Thanks Fred, I’m 61 and my eye’s are not what they used to be but usually fish with my 12 year old grandson and he’s got the eye’s LOL.. Great info and thanks as I was looking at the Hummingbird Helix 5 that does have side scan and only a 5” screen.. So now going to look at just sonar and down scan..
I’m in Florida till Saturday so Ill hit Bass pro that’s not to far to go play...There’s a Dicks just around the corner from here so I’m going there after dinner...

Thanks Guys and now really looking at the Twin Troller again and again. Yea its expensive and the shipping is $450 to get to me so I really need to make a decision on what to buy. I’m in Florida this week and going to hit Bass pro shop now that Cast4Bass has talked about the Prowler..

No Kayak’s as I mostly go with my grandson. I looked at the twin troller and that looks really nice but the cost is getting to me a bit...Anyone here have one compared to the Raider? I see also that they discontinued the front mounting trolling foot control troller that mounts to the mount on the boat...I guess the big foot would be ok..

Looking to get a Pelican Raider 10E but also see other boats that are some what the same like the Pond Prowler and now see that Pelican has the “New” 10E NXT. So what’s the differences between the three or if you know of a different one please post it...We fish mostly ponds and small lakes that only allow electric.
Thanks Guys!!
