High viz. line works for me. I prefer high viz. Green

Has anyone used one of those spinning reels with two drags?
They are supposed lightly allow fish to pull line off the reel with the bail closed. Like a baitcaster in free spool with the clicker on. Do they have a clicker? Thinking for Stripers and Cats in the dark
Thanks

30+ years of fishing with spinning gear and you want to change now?
That sounds like a exercise in frustration.
What's broke that needs fixing?
Two of those and a fry pan = good meal.
I have had success by putting the weight about 3 feet from the end of the line. I then tie a dropper hook or 2 between the weight and the end . At the end I attach a small bobber. This will keep the bait out of the crabs reachI have used the weight on a slider so I can raise and lower the bait in the water. Kinda a fish finder.
what 's your point? you have been lucky?
Ain't no such thing.Fresh and salt fish will bite the same baits. I have caught rainbow trout and surf perch same lures. I could go on and on. Of course marlin lures a bit heavy for crappie.
I think these are what you are looking for.
