I use Costa's for long term glare like an off shore trip, to me they are the best but expensive. Don't want to leave them on a table at the diner. When you come back they will be gone. I have compared the cheaper glasses on the water but I always come back to Costa's.

No doubt Costas may be the best, I had a pair of top of the line Oakleys that vanished from my tool chest years ago

I had a pair of Wileys, loved them, but like all other high-end glasses I've had they seem soft and scratch easily. Recently I got a pair of Shady Rays, ok but not something I would recommend

I bet this topic has been debated on here a few times already but I'm a new dummy and am interested in what I can learn. Are you a one pair person or do you have several pair that you use throughout the trip as conditions change? I've wasted my share of $ on big name glasses but can't tell that much difference between those and cheap $30 glasses from Walfart

This is the question I would ask as well, don't believe he listed a location which would help but, might be time to try some new water, if a body of water has bass even a beginner can accidently catch a few

Welcome to the Stage Sinker Rig, and nice catch. I haven't been down to the Bay since the beginning of the century. Looks like a lot of fun on light tackle. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, light tackle is no longer an option for me. The dolphins are so bad now I had to switch to heavy rods and high speed reels to keep them from stealing my fish

Hello from paradise....grab your gear, pack your bags and head south, weather is great and Spanish Mackerel are on fire around the Skyway piers in Tampa Bay. Kings start arriving soon for a brief stay before heading north.
