No worries sir just pointing it out. Never had craw fish. I’ve used them for bait. But I would sure like to try!!

Check the frozen seafood freezer
at Wally World - they carry them
here in Arizona, so there's a chance your nearest one may also ! Just be ready to 'shell out' a few 'clams' for them - they ain't cheap !

Don't know if it's genetic or a diet
problem, but it seems the men in my family share a strong penchant for producing noxious fumes - dad and my brothers weren't usually as ripe,
but they had their days, too !

My youngest brother (who's sense
of humor sometimes mirrored mine)
would on occasion rip a good one either going to bed or getting up -
he would then pull the covers firmly over his (and his girlfriend's) heads and pull what he called a 'Dutch
Oven' by holding them there and 'sharing' it with her ! Good thing the girl had a sense of humor or I might have lost him sooner than I did !

Big A,they keep h*****g up on the wife also. Everything goes along fine with their questions and her answers. Right up till they ask about her vehicle. When she tells them it’s a 1968 international scout, I think the phone must burn their hand

I think they just don't like my attitude/ language - I'm hardly polite to them when I bother to pick up !

I DID like that photo - seems like
those s**mmers will find you no matter where you go, phone or no phone !

Was that for me ? Are you pissed off/being serious or is this just a
'leg-pulling' session ? Your joke triggered mine - I just took it from there, and it wasn't about anyone
on here (that I know of) !

100% correct on that. Amazes me how correct it is being written so many years ago - smart people!!

Lest we forget - that was the
voice of experience talking !
They not only knew what they
were talking about, but they
probably had far fewer
'air-heads' to contend with !

Seems like true professionalism
is so scarce nowadays, doesn't it ?

A man walks into the doctor's
office, waits 20 minutes, then is ushered into the examining room
by a young, very pretty nurse ! After taking his vital stats, she asks him what he's there for and he, slightly embarrassed, says it's rather
personal and he'd like to talk to
the doctor !

She assures him that she has
'seen it all' as his assistant and
to not be embarrassed, so he
pulls down his britches and
skivvies for the examination !
When she looks down and sees
that his 'equipment' is about the
size of a 'double-A' battery, she can just barely keep her composure !

She then asks him what the
problem is, to which he answers -
"It's swollen !"

Unable to maintain her composure any longer, she runs out of the room red-faced, teary-eyed and holding her hand over her mouth to keep from
laughing out loud !

Haven't gotten one of those in
weeks ! Don't know whether it's because I keep blocking their
number and deleting their
messages, or if they just got
enough harsh verbal abuse the
last three times they called !

Seems like if you fill their ears
with expletives, they tend to
hang up in a hurry ! Oh, well !

True story, copied directly (word for word) from an article in 'Bloomberg News Service', re-posted for our
newer members !

A terrible diet and a room with no ventilation are being blamed for the death of a man who was k**led by his own gas. There was no mark on his body but an autopsy showed large amounts of methane gas in his
system. His diet had consisted primarily of beans and cabbage (and
a couple of other things).

It was just the right combination of
foods. It appeared that the man died
in his sleep from breathing the
poisonous cloud that was h*****g over his bed. Had he been outside
or had his windows been opened, it wouldn't have been fatal. But the
man was shut up in his airtight
bedroom.

According to the article, "He was a
big man with a huge capacity for
creating 'this deadly gas'. Three
of the rescuers got sick and one
was hospitalized.

In my younger days (30s/40s/50s)
I had a reputation for expelling such noxious gases - made some folk
gag and retch and one guy actually puked, but I'm not aware of ever
having k**led anyone !

Hey, OJ ! Never heard about that
one, but like I said - "I'm no botanist"!
The seed-pods look right, but the leaves don't seem to match - these look more like spearmint-shaped, while mine looks vaguely like a
smaller maple leaf ! If I try to zoom
in too close on my phone, it just
gets blurry and harder to identify !

This wasn't a quiz, folks ! Was just trying to figure out what it is that's growing just outside my door, as
I've never seen the like of it before !
I guess I's library time - gonna have
to do some research ! Thanks again everyone for your input !

It isn't a life or death question !
I was just curious and wondered
if any of you folk would know !
Next library trip, I'll do a little
digging and figure it out, but
thanks to everyone for their input !

The striped maple leaf looks right but the seed pod doesn't match

The leaves are much smaller
than maple leaves, which I am
very familiar with (sugar maples), though I'm not sure about striped maples, and their overall shape doesn't match !

Spirit says that the so-called
'tulip tree' is a species of poplar,
and he may be right, but I don't remember ever seeing such color
or flowers on one back home !

Wuff ! Wuff ! Have always been
curious about one thing - can an
'old dog' also be a 'sick puppy' or
are they mutually exclusive ?
Can one be both ?
