Try a chatter-bait to see if the bass wake up to their hunters instinct. It could be they're not in the area you're trying also. Cast out in a fan pattern, each time in different area.

Not sure what pier you meant,but I know I'm heading to Sunshine Skyway Bridge,on the south side pier this evening on the out-going tide.I'm hoping to maybe hook some sheepies,mangoes and hopefully at least one grouper =). Happy fishing and stay safe.
Hi guys;Will from Tampa,Fl. here. I have thought many times about using an RC boat to take my line where I want it but was weary about getting it stranded due to a drained battery also...specially out on Tampa Bay LOL. Great Idea though. Let me know how it's been working out for you.
