Wonder how many pay phones are still in use around us. I saw a guy on one down in Newark but there was no "Superman changing room" it was just outside on the wall of a store.

I use to collect this type of stuff and such. I’ve got a 28’ van trailer about 2/3rds full of vintage stuff. I haven’t opened the door on it in over 10 years. I can’t remember exactly what’s in there. Also have a 35gal. fiber barrel full of vintage tools. Don’t know what the heck I’m going to do with all of it. I’ll have to look at it sometime… 🐟on

Had the same thing happen to me once. Made a call and when I hung up it started spitting out quarters.

Knew them all. When the electric frying pan was on the way out a local church acquired a dozen of them and used them As a fund raiser making funnel cakes at the local oyster festival. Quite a sight.
