You should also add Benicia Marina to your list.

Information on it and others can be found at:

Just drove across the Benicia bridge a few hours ago. There are a FEW ships still there but not a FLEET anymore.

Since noone has answered your question, I'll throw in my $0.02 worth.

I would choose the closest ramp that is on the same side of the river as you intend to fish. Given how bad the chop on that stretch can get, staying on the same side would allow you the option of staying close to shore on your return to the ramp -- both safer and more comfortable than having to make a crossing.

Be advised that this opinion is only based on my experience on other stretches of the strait, not 1st hand experience at the Mothball.

Below is a picture of the boat he's taking out...

Years and years ago, Dad, his brother and I were fishing that area over on the south side of the channel, we some how got hung up on a sand bar. My uncle got down to his skivvies got in the water and was able to get us back to deeper waters. I’ll never forget that day…😂🐟on

Been there, done that -- never fun!

There are some fairly shallow spots across the channel.

Below is the map snippet that I sent him on another thread. I highly recommend a chart/map. (Fish-n-Maps Co is my chart of choice)

My friend toasted a prop on a 25 footer, could only run it at 1500rpm back through the delta, I refuse to go out with him, he's always goofing something up.
