I can't help you with updates on that area, I live too far away to fish there. However I would like to welcome you to the stage.

The salmon are starting to come in closer I’m sure there are some pooling in Pete Marquette lake but not so much in the river yet. Fishing is always good in Hamlin

Welcome to the stage Female Fisherman. Sorry I'm not much help. Ya might call some of the local bait shops and check out Google an YouTube. We have some from Michigan and if they don't come along you might start another thread about salmon run in Pete Marquette River. Good luck and we all like pics 👍

Salmon are largely still off shore, but if I had to guess I would expect them upstream in 2-3 weeks.

When we were on them earlier in the week we found them about a half mile off shore so that’s what I was basing that on.

Yes there moving in not big numbers yet. Still salmon out on the shelf but things have started to pick up at the mouth and in the river.

Welcome Female Fisherman,
I was just in Baldwin last weekend. I checked the PM just east of M37 (in Baldwin) and didn't see a single salmon. I was amazed b/c exactly 1 year ago, in the exact same location, I stopped counting at 50 salmon in about 3 minutes. I had never seen anything like it.
About 45 minutes from Baldwin, I have heard they are starting to stack up at Tippe Dam.
I was just in Baldwin last weekend. I checked the PM just east of M37 (in Baldwin) and didn't see a single salmon. I was amazed b/c exactly 1 year ago, in the exact same location, I stopped counting at 50 salmon in about 3 minutes. I had never seen anything like it.

Well welcome aboard! Haven't heard anything about the Pere Marquette. But the fish are in at Frankfort, Betsie River. They are catching some off the Breakwall at night with Glow Spoons. Supposedly 1-3 am. is prime time. The Boardman River in TC should have some fish in, but I don't think the run is in full swing there yet.
