Caught two 13 inch Cutthroats and one 15 inch Rainbow trout. Used Nightcrawler for one cutthroat and powerbate for the other two.

Some nice trout brother. All the good trout streams around here ran thru private property n fools ruined it by trashing the places. 😊🎣

It seems the trout go after the Powerbait and Nightcrawler more than lures, maybe they are used to the pellets in the hatcheries????

That could be. I use small worms some velveta cheese. Now n them a white rooster tail.
I got hooked on bass so bad I have trouble fishing for other species.
Keep getting them.
I'd enjoy a trout stream like that 👍🎣

I am fishing for bass in Wednesday a Pinewiew reservoir. I have caught one about three weeks ago and nothing more.

Nice I use both power bait and half of a nightcrawler on the same hook. Works great!!

I will try that this Sunday ( Nightcrawler and powerbate) when my grandson and I got fishing at Echo reservoir.

Put the power bait on first then a half of the nightcrawler or less. The powerbait needs to be firm or it will fall off. Another trick is to let the powerbait and worm set in the water for a minute or so. It will help to set the bait on your hook
