Went out with a charter from Clayton, NY and caught a limit of large smallmouths. I went with Irish Hammer Charters and Captain Paul really worked to keep us on the fish. Since I was alone he called me and asked if another guy could come with us and I agreed. We both caught our 5 with fish up to 5lb, I can't wait to taste some smallies, they definitely fought hard! What a beautiful place and amazing fishery.

Nice, Shenanigans! Haven't been up to Thousand Islands in decades. But yeah, that smallie bite is something. Fierce fighters they are, for sure, and fry up really good!🎣🎣🎣

We were in the river near the bridge to Canada, captain was heading out to go after Muskies after he dropped us off, would have loved to go on that one as well. maybe next time. I had to get a Canadian license. My first time catching smallies and I love it!!!

Fished alot there before the goby came in.
Found fishing after that really bad in the river. Perhaps its on its way back. At least i hope so. Maybe plan trip back to that beautiful part of the country.

We were staying in a cabin at a marina and some guys there with boats were coming back with limits every day, they took home a ton of meat. I don't think transporting that much is legal though, the rule book I read stated only 2 days limit in possession.
