Good morning. 59° and really foggy. (Insert fog horn sound here) Supposed to make it to 70° later with only 20% chance of rain. Total mixed bag of jobs today. Dishwasher install, meet with excavator for gas and water lines, pond pump issues, and a furnace service. Not sure if I should wear work boots or a wet suit today....
I was watching a show on the Travel Channel about places to visit. They were showing pictures from Switzerland when the Wifey walked in and asked "What's so great about living in Switzerland?" I said "Well, their flag is a big plus."
Let that sink in for a minute, and have another cup of coffee.
Have a wonderful Monday folks!

Far better than waking up grumpy. The other 6 dwarfs don't like him either.

I played in the orchestra for American Ballet Theater at the Met for many years. Baryshnikov was really nice and fun, Nureyev was a narcissistic jerk. Knocked my music off my stand once when playing an offstage horn call because we didn't "notice" him.
Was wondering this morning how Kelly and Astaire were in real life. They always seem SO happy at their work.

From the little I've read about these two Americans, I get a very positive feeling about Gene, was supposed to be a nice guy and a real gentleman. Fred, on the other hand was supposed to be very difficult and demanding to work with. Not much is known that I know of about his public demeanor, apparently he kept pretty much to himself and a small group of friends.
Sorry about your bad experience with Rudolph. Some "stars" just get big heads and become arrogant. Too bad for us, but.... even worse for them.

What a great experience, Kandy, to play in that orchestra! And yeah, that was a jerky thing to do. You all are just as much the stars as he is. No respect!
